Each spring Calgary Learns invites adult learning program coordinators and senior staff to join us for a half-day consultation focusing on our future funding priorities. We want to hear what new themes are emerging both good news and the challenges—that impact the delivery of foundational learning programs.

Community Consultations: Spring 2007

Each spring Calgary Learns invites community-based adult educators to come together to share resources and their thoughts on needs and trends.

Reflecting on what participants have said in recent years, we hoped the consultation served to empower you to better understand and take advantage of the full scope of our funding criteria. Calgary Learns appreciated the feedback around how to improve the criteria listed in our Request for Proposals (RFP) and the chance to hear about agency successes and challenges. As well as the chance to learn more about trends and emerging issues that are impacting the delivery of foundational learning programs to learners.
